In Andorra, Hotel Canaro near to Soldeu has something along the miniscule lines of what mikeycharlton said - though it's only available to hotel clients.
And there are a handful of other (public) micro-areas dotted around the Iberian peninsular outside of the Pyrenees: in Galicia and Portugal for example.

Keep 'em coming. I remember skiing a wonderful little resort near Klosters, Fideris Heuberg but it is on a reasonably large scale. At the end of the day we climbed to Hintegg then Glatwang and skied down to Fideris station (I suppose).

The Grenoble area is one of the best for micro resorts. If you have tiny children, you can take turns skiing, with one person in a nice warm cafe. There are tons of these places in the Chartreuse and Vercors. If you are interested in punter ski racing, then all of them have a slalom or two each year as well on the FFS circuit.

The Hohe Wand Wiese in Vienna.
It used to be 400m long
Altitude diff' = 110m (260m to 370m).
They used to race there (FIS).
Sadly since the 2016/17 Season the T-bar is shut and they only have a 40m magic carpet for kids. Lower down they have an artificial dryslope section. It has mountainbiking trails and a Rodelbahn in the summer.

The French Masters circuit goes to several small stations each year.
One is usually Les Rafforts above Ugine which only has two lifts.

Our most popular local one is 500m long, 90m vertical. It'll see far more use for MTB uplift in summer than skiing now.
There is another, but it's a private club lift, 300m long, 44m vertical.
It has not snowed at all here this winter, although there may have been a dusting in the hills.

Brudarebacken in Gothenburg is 270m long, 42m vertical. I've only seen it open once, the first winter we were here. It claims to have 2 button lifts but reality is slightly less appealing: one rope tow just above boot level, with bar/hook things to go behind one leg. On the plus side, it's only just outside the city.

There are a few "ski areas" in Northern England that might be eligible for this - Allendale, Wearhads, Yad Moss - but the smallest is probalby Another World outside of Halifax

it used to be a big area with a telecabine that went to the summit of the Moucherotte where there was a hotel that attracted the jet-set back in the day and an Olympic ski jump. There was a cog railway from Grenoble
Sadly we are a long way from la belle epoque when you could take the sleeper from Gare st Lazare and hop onto the mountain railway at Grenoble to ski the Vercors for the weekend, all Greta compatible.
There is a club field in South Island New Zealand. The “lift” is a rope which you hold on to with a nutcracker. 2 runs. Hut at bottom. Lots of Kea birds nicking your lunch. Can’t remember the name but it was awesome.

@davidof, I love little resorts like that. You used to see really old signs on the sides of the road for them but I rarely see them now

There are lots of these places dotted around between Munich and the Alps. Beuerberg used to be my place of choice to take the kids for a slide.

Also used to be a drag lift in Leutstetten just a couple of Km south of me. No longer unfortunately.
I remember cycling past the Mercedes dealership in Neu Perlach in the morning and seeing their digital thermometer on -30C, the cyclepaths would be covered with ice for months on end in the winter and you could cross country ski almost from the gates of Munich.
I imagine that winters are not as cold as that these days.

@davidof, +15C the last few days. No more than a few mm of snow over the whole winter so far here in Gauting. Last winter people were able to do xcountry over the fields out the back of my house, so maybe next winter will be better. Certainly couldn't be any worse.
I guess Beuerberg will be history soon as well

one of the issues with small ski areas are EU regulations, there are all kinds of things surrounding things like cable height etc that have made it difficult for small areas to come up to standard.

Sounds like all of the club fields! Fox peak, awakino, Olympus would be some of the smallest of those.
Invincibles near Queenstown would have to be a contender. One small hut to stay in, a rope tow, heli access and supposed to be epic on the right day. Never been. Too poor.

Since the OP did specify "the world", then Allenheads (North Pennines, UK) fits that very same description. Followed by Yad Moss, Weardale, Raise, Lowther Hills.
Are there nutcracker tows in the UK ? I thought it was a uniquely kiwi way of torturing snowboarders on a pow day

Plenty of clubs had portable tows. I have used one in North Wales, other clubs had spots in the Peak District that they used.
The Lecht in Scotland used that kind of tow for the first few years, the children of the founders skied laps carrying buckets of the grips back down to the bottom of the hill.

I hate them. But unfortunately it's the price you have to pay round this part of the world if you want to play in the good stuff.
Roundhill is nearly 1.5km long and 800m vertical. Brutal. It's just continual destruction of knees on pylons and nuts into pulley wheels! But worth it.
Just had a look, Invincibles is a 10 person back country hut and one rope tow, helicopter access only. Just stay in the hut for a few days. The terrain is the real deal from the photos I've seen. No website but they have a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/invinciblesnowfields/
