Hi, silly question to some, but I am from South Africa.
Is the skiing in Sunshine Village / Lake Louis, in Canada still any good in March?

March is great. Longer days. Warmer temperatures.

The best snow I had there was May 10.....so March should be fine. But it is not a very big area.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It definitely is. At the end of March there's a few times I went home from Lake Louise by 2.30 bus as it was starting to get soggy (and my European body was starting to get sleepy). Should be fine.

The locals call it Magic March. Perfect time to ski. Not so bitterly cold as midwinter but still lots of fresh snow.
To put it in to context Lake Louise closes around 10th May and Sunshine not till 22nd May. We’ve been April for the last few years and it’s amazing. Sometimes a little slushy at the bottom in the afternoon. But also several days of fresh snow

Banff is a great base and you can ski the "big 3" easily from there. There are regular buses to each resort; Norquay, Sunshine and Lake Louise and you can get a lift pass that covers all 3.
It really is a cracking ski area. Lake Louise has some stunning views, Sunshine has lots of varied terrain and Norquay whilst small can be a serious challenge.
The snow is so light and fluffy! Would highly recommend.
