@aewynia, Thanks. Rather annoyingly, it has just started to snow  Now I just have to get out of here. There will be a prison-style breakout by the end of the day if someone doesn't sign me off!

@aewynia, Yes, back home now. I think I did a good impression of someone about to throttle a nurse yesterday morning when they told me I was going to have to wait another 24hr to see the ophthalmologist, but the my surgeon came to see me and got my appointment moved forward. She was quite happy to let me go  This is the problem you get with a fully funded system that doesn't desperately need your bed back!
