Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Which rental shop would you guys recommend in Cervinia? I need sth with modern equipment, and sth that will happily edge/wax the skis every other day without extra charge Smile

Sport Centre is good. Not sure if they’ll service them every other day but you can ask!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There are probably a dozen rental shops there. There were at least 5 just on the main street.

What exactly they have I don't know. High-end skis are less well stocked for rental. They seemed to be packed with the usual brands.

One shop I went into had a machine for waxing which did a ski in about 10 seconds Smile

Their ‘Noleggio Cretaz’ shop is located in a brilliant position for the ski lifts. You can leave shoes there during day, switch out of them after skiing and go straight to the apres bars in town...

I've never heard of a ski shop that will edge/wax every other day though. Wax shouldn't come off that quickly nor should the edges go blunt that quickly if just regular piste skiing.

The skis aren't all 'high end' just regular rental stock that will suit you. Pay up to get the higher end stuff they stock.
