Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ischgl - Bus to Kappl.

Hi all,

Just wondered where you catch the bus in Ischgl to go up the road to Kappl?
I’ve been to Ischgl a few times and with the current snow conditions I’m feeling slightly lacklustre so was thinking of heading to Kappl for a change of scenery.

Pretty sure we got the bus on the Silvretta Strasse just down from the lift station. Could be mistaken, it was 4 years ago.

@halfhand, yeah I think it might be down around there from what I’ve found online just wondered if someone had concrete info.

You can also get the bus in the car park outside the Nevada hotel, just down from the Pardaschatgratbhn.

There's a few stops you can catch the bus from - https://www.ischgl.com/media/2015/pdf/paznaun/bus-17-18/liniennetzgrafik_paznaun.pdf The Silvrettabhan stop is down on the main road, outside the Mpreis supermarket. It's 'Ischgl side' for the bus down the valley to Kappl and See/'car park side' for the bus up the valley to Galtur.

If you have a lift pass the bus is free all the way from Galtur to Landeck.

Be aware. Most of kappl faces south so unlikely the snow will be better than ischgl. Great wee area right enough.
