Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tripple Base tech Vs Flying V Tech:
Just want to hear end-users thoughts on these? I ride and love Bataleon 3BT but so many people love the flying V? So what do you love or hate about these techs in snowboard bases? Ever tried never Summer? these guys were the first with Rocker and Camber (Flying v)
honest opinions please if you have ridden any of these.

Sorry never ridden any of these but the prevailing opinion over on snowboarding forum is that the flying V is not good and hinders any progression. I think they feel that it has the camber in the wrong places and just washes out all over the place. It is not my own personal experience but I wouldn't even try it on the strength of opinion I have seen over there.

Wouldn't say it's not good, but it's always felt very unwieldy on an edge to me - like it's blunt and fat. On the other hand, I've always found it very playful in deeper stuff and very easy to make the nose float without much effort. I had a lot of fun board sliding icy walls on one recently.
Not good is a bit of an odd thing to say - more different. I wouldn't buy one, but I've enjoyed the two out three that I've ridden in their own way.
