Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whitedot Redeemers for sale

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
For Sale, Whitedot Redeemers -1.80m long, QK'd for Head Mojo bindings at 306mm. I'm keeping the bindings so selling flat, but have a pair of Tyrollia superlight100 bindings that will fit but you will need to buy a set of wider brakes to suit ( piste office)

These were bought for a trip to Japan a few years ago and I really enjoyed them. I've since carted them around Europe a bit but not found conditions where i'd prefer them to my Cham 87's so, as I fear a return to japan unlikely, I think I should sell them.

They are in really good overall condition having only been skied on for 9 days or so on good snow. Bases and edges are all sound, there are a few minor topsheet scuffs as would be expected.

£120.00 ono plus p&p

can deliver within 50 miles Bristol area

please pm me for any further info, photos etc

Just to say that I have these in 180. They are a bit niche in Europe but skiing them on the powder day is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
For anyone fortunate to have ski storage in the Alps these are a no brainer at the price - you'll feel you'll have had your monies worth after two or three powder days.

@jedster, agree entirely.

I bought them for the Japan trip as it was not much more to buy than to rent out there!

Sadly I seem to be the kiss of death when it comes to finding ideal conditions -in the last 8 weeks or so of skiing in Europe I think I've had 1 good powder day -and then it was one of the few times I'd not taken the redeemers away with me !!!! Time to let someone else enjoy them & I'll just rent on the v. rare occasions the snow gods smile on me Very Happy

I've got these but in 190. Like jedster has quite rightly pointed out, they're a bit of a handful on anything with less than an inch of two of soft stuff underfoot (but not completely unskiable by any means), but in anything above that, they're good for endless hours of fun - the one powder day I did get last year was comparable to skiing on a cloud! Even on groomers though, they're flexible enough to provide room for casual wheelies off rollers and general skullduggery, and have zero camber which enables drifting round corners backwards and pirouetting endlessly down the side of the park Toofy Grin

I just wish I'd got Baron EPF's mounted instead Crying or Very sad

all that is fair. The 180s are almost comically manouverable in soft snow. When I've found myself on firm snow I've ended up almost wedelling (old school pivotted short swings) because the very short running length and large width makes them horrible to carve unless you can dig them in to the snow. If the piste is soft you can rail them a bit.
I did find some conditions when they were close to unskiable (at least I was bloody glad to get off them) - fresh wet snow over hard piste, later in the day when it had been pushed into soft wet bumps. I found that when the edges got through the soft stuff and found the firm piste they just grabbed it and torqued my ankles due to the width. Not fun!
They are really something to drag out when the conditions merit it.
