Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

40 days on liners?

Can my boot liners really be out (movement) after 40 days?

@WASHOUT, yes. My Dynafit Vulcan were finished in about 40 days, whereas the Tecnica Zero G lasted about 70.

I have found however that good replacements like Intuition Pro Tour last much longer.

My last Rossi boots the original liners I used for about 50 days, then got Zipfits that lasted a further 600. After 650 days even the shells were pretty trashed.

I have Zipfits, I can recommend them, approx 100 days on them now. Mine could do with topping up now, but it's not desperate.

My standard Head liners have had about 400 days. Obviously packed out a little, they have been much better than my previous Salomons. The shop I bought them from here said they would last much longer.

My Salomons did about as expected iirc 120 days. The SIDAS foam replacements did about 360. Quite pleased with that.
