Poster: A snowHead

Looking into a DIY trip to Zurs with the family- does anyone have views on the Ski-Lifts website for transfers?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Gordon the Dog, it might be worthwhile asking on the Arlberg thread https://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=143016 . I seem to remember someone claiming that Der Lecher were very expensive but I could well be mistaken and easy for one person to have some beef or other.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Der Lecher is a reliable, good service.

Der Lecher indeed is pricey, but reliable, especially in snowy conditions.
Innsbruck-Zürs = 310 euro for luxury Mercedes Van
1.20 hr
We also have been using Innsbruck based transfers, cost around 200 euro, but less reliable.

We used findtransfers.com website. Found a great local firm, well priced and punctual. I use this website now to find all my airport transfers. Often get cheaper quotes than booking direct on the website of the companies.

Slight warning: we have had bad experiences with two different Innsbruck based companies when returning from Lech to Innsbruck. Both times they simply did not show up, probably due to snowy weather and snow-covered Arlberg and Flexenpass at that moment...Since then we choose a local taxi when weather is bad

If cost is an issue, then get a train from Innsbruck to Langen, followed by a taxi (or Postbus, if really doing it on the cheap).

+1 for this: bus from INN to train station, train to Langen, then postbus to Zurs .
Download the OBB train app which is fantastic for planning/booking train travel in Austria

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Highly recommend Alpstria - very efficient and reliable company.
