Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

you used to be able to buy a one day supplement to extend to both Swiss and Italian areas.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

To the top of the Kleine you need the international ski pass, also taking the Gornergrat railway is a must do, views up there are also stunning! You can extend by the day, think I read 30euros?
Much cheaper to eat on Italian side bear in mind.

Ok that’s what I thought. I have skied zermatt before. This time we’re Visiting as a family from aosta valley for a day on the cervinia slopes. It will be a mid morning start from valtourneche So not worth the international pass for us all. I did fancy the full ventina route back to the car At the end of the day though hence the question about getting up to klein Matterhorn as a one off.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@MHskier, You can still do Ventina from Plateau Rosa via the cable car from Laghe Cime Bianche. Admittedley, not the full top-to-bottom vertical for those who want to tick it off but in my view the best part of the run is from PR down

Valtournenche/Cervinia high season day pass is €48.50 covers all lifts on the Italian side, which takes you as far as Testa Grigia/Plateau Rosa. It's a great run down to Valtournenche from there.
To ride any lifts on the Swiss side inc the Klein Matterhorn you need an International day pass for €67...a lot cheaper than the Swiss version at 100CHF (€92)!!

Thanks - we will have the Aosta valley pass already so will just maximise our use of that on the italian side. Good to hear it's a good run down even of you miss the very top bit. Cheers.
