Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone able to recommend a good boot fitter in Ireland. I’m live in Belfast. The only ski shop in the north is Topping Leisure in comber which I’m happy with if that are any good. Able to drive to Dublin etc if I have too. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Why don't you get fitted in resort?

There was somebody here (recently), who was happy with the service they received in S&R Dublin.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Since Macski and Climate closed your best bet is to get a recommendation for a fitter in whichever resort you're going to.

Bought boots in Snow n Rock in Dundrum a few years ago and found the very good. Took about 1 and half hours as they have all the fitting machines and found the guy very helpful and patient. Would ring in advance to make sure the fitters are working the day you go. The guy that services the skis is off on Mondays and Wed I think.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Would also recommend getting fitted in resort, and with a recommendation ie. don't just go into a Surefoot. Have you a trip planned?

Thanks for the replies. Yes off to Söll 15th Feb. Don’t fancy getting them in resort for two reasons time taken for boot fitting and boots seem to be a lot more expensive in resort.

Ended up going to Topping Leisure in Cumber. I was impressed with the fitter and I am now a proud owner of a new pair of Salmon s/pro 100 boots! Can’t wait to test drive them!
