Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

3V / Les Menuires ski pass discounts?

In the last two years I've been able to get a discounted 6-day pass for the 3 Valleys from the chalet booking company, but it seems that this year the company has changed hands and they are no longer offering discounted lift passes. Does anyone have any other strategies for saving a bit of money?

@diaphon, I've said before that many such "offers" are just a discount on the accommodation dressed up as a discount on the lift pass - to make the TO/chalet seem more attractive. In 3V I think you will just have to look at all the standard offers from the lift companies for when you are going: age discounts, local passes rather than 3V, Saturday only, Duo(2) or Tribu (3+) for identical passes bought together etc. (If you are on your own or a couple, then a TO should be able to get you the last of these by combining with others in the chalet).

Thanks @ecureuil, that’s what I figured. The Tribu rate on a 6-day pass plus the Saturday rate for 2 Saturday’s works out a little bit better than an 8-day pass, so we’ll do that.
