Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas Drive Down 2019 - chit chat

Just driven down. Lovely drive but the traffic heading north was manic. Listened to traffic radio big queues and accidents on the A6 North of Beaune. Looks like it could be difficult tomorrow

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Drove back yesterday leaving Chatel
at leaving 12:30 pm and arriving home in SW London 11:20 hours later mostly fuelled on Spicy Haribo Pik and Cheese flavoured Bugle.

The route took us across the Jura mountains, via Lausanne, to join the A39 near Polingy. Lots of rain but managed to drive directly onto a train which was the one after our scheduled crossing as we arrived slightly late.

Hope today goes smoothly for all coming back.

Left Morzine at 3pm Saturday afternoon.
Quiet and smooth drive...It was only me on the drive back so stayed in and F1 hotel at Cambrai Sat night.
(Have stayed in F1’s before and it served a purpose).
Was booked onto 10:20am tunnel crossing Sunday morning.
Turned up 2 hr early for the crossing and am now sitting on the 09:20am crossing waiting for it to depart.
Small ques being well managed at the French side of the Eurotunnel this morning but I expect it will build as the morning progresses.
Safe travels to anyone doing the journey home today.

Drive back yesterday from ste Foy. Went Right at the peage after Lyon at expery and up the A39 as opposed to battling Paris bound traffic. No bottle necks at any tolls, all quite smooth.

Even eurotunnel was behaving, arrived just after 6pm....no hold pen, straight up to check in, thru passport control and onto train for 7.20pm.

Got grilled at passport check and made to get out and open roof box after answering that we d left the car for toilet break at Rumacourt services, and hadn’t opened the roof box when returning to the car........apparently someone else had done the same and when she got asked to open her roof box at passport control ..... the ski gear had gone and two Africans were inside!!!!...
