Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arberg Road Tunnel S16/E60

Poster: A snowHead
Hi all ….having purchased the Arlberg tunnel pass online via the ASFINAG for our planned trip to Solden, how does the tunnel entrances/exits work with the online tunnel pass already purchased? I understand this is number plate recognition, but having not travelled this route before, is there a separate lane for tickets already purchased. ? Attempted to look at the google maps on the street view section but it does not show...
Oh, and have purchased the vignette online as well, Thanks

@Simon94, we have just purchased ours today, Arlberg tunnel, Brenner pass and the vignette. My OH who has done it says that you need to print off the e mail confirmation that you received and the various attachments which show you the layout at the tunnel. Left hand lane is for pre paid only, the other lanes are for paying. Hope that helps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

iirc the far left lane says something like "video maut" or "digital maut" which is number plate recognition only, and that lane is roped off from the rest of the booths earlier (brenner is when I've been that way)

i'd have thought you can just go in any lane with the car symbol above it, which ever looks like it has the best queue
