Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I rented some Bigfoot things some years ago, teaching my daughters for their first few days on skis in a tiny resort. I thought they were very unstable and transmitted every tiny shock into my knees. I wouldn’t rent again.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

They look more like something you would pop on over ski boots to protect wooden floors!

I've seen these as well, $150 Shocked but £63 in the link above, still a touch high for what they are I think. Had a go on Big Foots when I was a kid. Short drag lift at night, floodlit piste and disco lights and music. Was good fun, but for no more than an hour or so. Or you could learn to 'ski' in just your ski boots. It's not that difficult on the right snow and teaches you no end about your balance Very Happy

@Oitbc, I saw something similar in Japan a couple of years ago....but in Japan they were even smaller, they exactly fitted boot soles....yours look like veritable snowboards by comparison.

Needless to say I didn't try them!

Every few years there is a new miniski hype of some kind.

And they never takeoff.

They totally suck.

Too slow.

Make you look like a loser.
