Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

what ski class should i join

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Evening all, so am thinking of going over to the dark side and swapping 1 plank for 2.

I am 40yo. Did season 20 years ago and have boarded at least once every season since. Get down anything well and love speed.

I skied 2 years ago for 1 hour with my wife and her instructor just to show her that I could ski. Presumed I would be better than her and I was.- This really was not saying much. I literally did the baby slope then a couple of blues and was parallel turning( kind of) and that was the end of the hour.

So my question is:

What ESF class do I start in? we are going club med so lessons are included.

No, just form an orderly queue right across the piste leaving no space for people to get through…..well if your swapping over you have to get into the skier mind set Happy

@leveloneskier, I think the OP was asking about ESF Levels, which only go to 4 for adults ( Excluding competition).

@ianvip, Do you want to see the Classe 1, or does that page from the ESF Instructor book give you a good enough idea as to whether you will be in Classe 1 or Classe 2 ?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@ianvip, bear in mind that ski technique has changed considerably since you last did it. As has equipment.
