Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Parking in Plagne Centre

My daughter and family are off to UCPA Plagne Centre for Christmas week, driving down in their Volkswagen T4 camper, which needs 2 metres clearance. Does anyone know of available covered parking?

Thanks @boredsurfin - that's what they were afraid of having only come up with a 1.95 clearance when they searched. There is a mention of outdoor parking but no details. They might just have to do some digging if it's a snowy week - do you know whether there is likely to be a struggle to find a place in the outdoor parking area, in Christmas week?

@pam w, Outdoors will be fine in Xmas week (Parisian Hordes arrive for New Year) If theres a problem there is loads of outdoor parking just below Aime 2000 or along the road up to Plagne Villages Both areas have pedestrian lifts to connect to Plagne Centre.

Is their van actually 2.0 m or is it <1.95, when I travelled with a roof box I found the 1.95 limit quite 'generous', I got the impression it was to keep the big motor homes out!

We're also in need of parking for that week.
According to the reservation site Le Boulevard is full for that week.
@boredsurfin mentioned the open air parking near Aime 2000. If left there all week is there any risk of a ticket or the car getting towed?
Thanks.

If it's a close thing on height clearance, let the tyres down. (As long as you've got a foot pump to get them back when the time comes to go.)
