 Poster: A snowHead

Hey,
I'm off for a whirlwind tour of the Tarentaise with work setting up for winter. Staying in Tignes one night and VT the next. As I'll be on expenses, anywhere to get a cooked breakfast and a decent dinner in either this week? Suspect breakfast is a long shot as it's interseason but you never know.
Thanks!

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I have no local knowledge of Tignes or Val Thorens in November but from experience elsewhere I'd suggest you'd do better looking for a decent lunch - there will be lots of workers around and there will be somewhere for them to get a good lunch.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I know but I can't claim lunch on expenses Though I suppose it's technically just two meals and they don't know which is which....
"Yes, I had a pizza and a glass of wine for breakfast what's your point?"

Does the Frog & Rosbif (VT) still exist and do “British” inspired food?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The Frog remains an institution and as we're staying right above it we'll probs have dinner there. Could be croissants for breakfast though - there are worse fates

At this time of year, try the Esacale Blanche or Arbina in Lac I've also seen pictures of the Jam Bar open but not sure how early. Rocco will cook at anytime if he's there.

The bars around the Funicular in Val Claret open early, you may be able to get something cooked at the Aspen.

Johns American in VT is open and does great food, thoroughly recommended for fajitas, burgers, etc

Taverne des Neige does breakfast, but think its more along the lines of pastries, bread, jam, juice and coffee.
