I occasionally organise a pre season transceiver practice evening at the start of the season for anyone local to the Telford \ Shropshire area.
If anyone is interested let me know and we can arrange a date and time.

@Dabber, Yep, Haugmond would be ok, or I've used the Wrekin before now.
Another snowhead has also expressed an interest so I'll try and sort a date and post it here.

Another really good spot is Grinshill if you know it , loads of leaves atm

@Dabber, Grinshill, A lovely part of Shropshire  Are you Shrewsbury area ? The Mynd is good too but perhaps less convenient if people are coming from the Wolverhampton direction.

@AndAnotherThing.., nantwich / Cheshire mate , but spend a lot of time mountain biking in Shropshire , the other weekend on stiperstones in the snow was magic and would have been a good place to practice , could have even had a little tour

How does the Sunday 15th suit everyone ? I'm thinking the Wrekin as we can work on the side slopes and there is some heather on the top, but I'm open to suggestions.
