Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Long shot but has anyone stayed in Le Bollin penthouse in Tignes? Considering to book it for our group but would appreciate any recommendations / reviews.

Seen pictures, it was Pierre Schnebelin's (he developed Val Claret.). So it's big, good views depending on aspect close to the piste, shops and bars in VC. But as I recall there are no bars etc on the ground floor so not too noisy. As for what goes on in the kitchen that depends who is running it this year!

@chocksaway, yes, this is the one. We planning to book it on self catering basis , so we will be running the kitchen ourselves ( which will probably mean slightly better food that average chalet menu). And yes, it seems quite spacious and well located, perfect for our party of 11.

I don't know the shops up there by reputation, but tbh they are all pretty much the same.

IMO Ski One is the best hardware/rental shop in Val Claret.
They appear to do a lot of servicing for the racers on the glacier and they've always been conscientious with our kit. One of those places that seems to take a bit of pride in their work.
They've even done discount for super/mega-snowHeads the past couple of years. Perhaps they even will this year? I'll have to ask them when I'm up there for the PSB snowHead

Thank you. I know ski one, my son went to the ski school they run but we haven’t rented equipment from them. Will look into this and would appreciate if you ask about a discount if you happen to be there
