Poster: A snowHead

...until we kick off our season in Val Thorens. It's a 7 night trip to start the season.
We've managed to book £40 pp return (Easyjet) flights, so it's a cheap trip. Hopefully the lifts will be open (on the proposed opening day of 16th Nov). However, if there isn't enough snow (like last season, when they opened 6 days late) we can always do some mountain walking. Then again, if there's snow higher up we can do some ski touring.
Either way, we will be happy in the mountains.

Nice! Will you have time on the final weekend to check out 'La Grande Premiere'? A few friends and I did that weekend a couple of times while living in Geneva, and it was always a really fun weekend.

@Bergmeister, or you could save yourself some effort and park in the first VT car park (designated P4 I think) you come to on the right which is free for day parking. You take a ticket as you go in and then insert it at the exit barrier at the end of the day. Voila! I should be doing that till the Menuires lifts open.
There's often ice in that car park and I know several people that have injured themselves there.
Of course, if you're actually staying in VT my advice is pointless!
