The cornice tends to collapse just before Xmas/your first trip when you realise you have x weeks work to do and x-1 weeks left before you go (hence I am usually pulling an allnighter packing for may first trip of the season)

Just fine here!  Still over a metre and perfect spring skiing. Three weeks of the season left. And... only 117 days until we fly to St Anton.
