Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Interchangeable lenses that take clip in prescription lenses. Any recs?

Currently using Adidas ones that are quite old and if it gets a bit clammy the clip iins lense steam because there is so little gap between them and the sunglass lens.

I use Rock Bros cycling sunglasses, 2 interchangeable lenses, photochromic and polarised plus prescription lens holder/insert. £15 from Ebay. Good enough for when weather conditions allow sunglasses.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I used to use the Adidas ones but found the prescription inserts sat too close to my eyes so my eyelashes brushed them when blinking. How about trying a helmet with a visor? Worked well for my father.

@Gordyjh, I presume you get interchangeable visors for different light conditions.

I used some Oakley Eyejackets, later Twenties with prescription lenses - perfect in every way. I went over to the dark side so now I'm a contact lens/Goggle wearer. Great option if the O/H can wear them - cheap daily disposables.

@Layne, I think he wore normal glasses in dull light and sunglasses in bright & the visor was clear.

@Layne, my visor is photochromatic - well, so they claim. Confess it's never been a problem, but I'm not necessarily convinced!

I went Goggles with prescription inserts, 2 facias for light or dark conditions. Worked very well and didn't fog up at all.

I have Rudy Project Rydon which is good for people with smallish faces. I haven't used them for skiing yet but they are very good for running/biking and everyday use. I recommend getting a mirrored lens which will hide the prescription clip on. I also have the racing red lens which is great for everything except strong sun. They also do photochromatic lenses and high impact unbreakable ones.
