Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Winter Tyres with Alloy Rims

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All

I have 4 alloys complete with winter tyres for disposal. These have been used on a 2003 Passat estate from 2005 until 2013 then on a Golf Mk 7 until winter 2017/2018 when I then sold the car. I had planned to use them on a leased Skoda Octavia Estate but the Skoda dealer would not confirm the size was suitable even though I had checked they fitted OK with plenty clearance to brakes etc so I decided not to use them. I am sure they will also fit many other VAG models. Don't know how to post photos of these. Once I work out how to do this I'll post them.

Alloys are 15 inch, purchased in Norway 2005 and had a mobile service refurbishment in the UK three years ago but it was not a first class job, however they are still in reasonable condition.

Three of the tyres are Michelin X-Ice X12 196/65 x 15 91T still with good tread depth (5+mm) although several years old, the other tyre (Michelin Alpin 5) was brand new fitted winter 2017/18 after I got a tyre wall puncture.

I am looking for these wheels and tyres to go to a good home if there is one, otherwise I will scrap if no-one is interested. I do not want any money for these as I have had great value from them over many years, however I would like whoever takes these (if anyone) to give a reasonable (suggested) donation of £50 to Snowheads.

For any extra info please PM me.

Collection preferred (I am based on Kent/Sussex borders) however I am sure delivery can be arranged at a cost to whoever takes these but I suspect would not be cheap and would easily add £60+ to the donation plus significant work for myself.

regards

Iain

Edited to include photos link. It works for me if I cut and paste into the URL browser bar.
