Still waiting to hear on our schedule, arrive Sapporo Feb 8th then we're touring Sunday onwards to the following Sat, staying Furano though last three days we're staying in Niseko/Hirafu for another attempt on Mont Yoti and maybe last day reward ourselves with that cat skiing again

Fifiskis and I are due to arrive on the 25th Jan in Sapporo for a couple of weeks and looking for ski buddies after a couple of the original party are now unable to make it. Our plan is to hire a car and make it a road trip, following the snow and booking as we go. Last time we headed East to the other side - Trip report here:

@AndAnotherThing.., think we'll miss each other, we start skiing (touring slack country) from our base in Niseko for four days Feb 9th before moving on Furano way, we're with a guided operation.
Possibly looks like we may be able to accommodate a couple of others in our group.

We are also landing on the 25th and I'm always open to skiing with other snowheads. As above, we're planning Sapporo for the first few days but then road trip where the snow is.

Please do not forget to post here on where the good snow is! Should be heading (fingers crossed!!!! that wife and work is OK with it) to Niseko-Rusutsu-Kiroro-Otaru-Furano-Mt Racey from 3 to 19 Feb. Will have a car but be based in Niseko, Otaru and Furano.
Two years ago was impressed with MikePow’s experience and knowledge in following the best snow - one day we left a bluebird in Niseko and circa 40 km away in Kiroro it was dumping. Returned back to bluebird Niseko at the end of the day. Unbelievable!
