Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Im travelling to GVA on Friday , my courier suggests that EES is not in operation from Friday to Monday but others in my group are suggesting you can buy a fast track option that gets you through security and customs . I cant see anything on the airport web site does anyone know if this is true ?

@gwatts10, only on security & only on the outbound (no inbound security). No "customs" fast tracks Puzzled & EES is part of passport control ... no fast tracks there either, if you only have a UK or other 3rd country passport.

@gwatts10, what your buddies might have seen, is one of the many companies offering "VIP arrivals services". At other airports these services sometimes have access to fast-track clearance, but at GVA I believe it jsut means they meet you at the plane and keep you company in the queue. I saw such an agent trying to get to the front of the passport queue a couple of years ago, and he got short shrift from the staff and the rest of the queue.

£10k for a private jet is the only alternative I'm aware of, short of being a diplomat.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

They may be thinking of the fast-track through security on departure from GVA. This was still in operation last time I flew from there, back in April. No idea how much it costs or whether it's any more or less worthwhile now that EES has been implemented.
