Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

1 Night - Close To La Tania

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We are flying to Geneva on Friday 14 February and need 1 night’s accommodation as close to La Tania (where we are spending HT week / starting from the Saturday) as possible ... so that we can get up and out before the mad rush starts on Saturday. Albertville or Moutiers are obviously options but is there anywhere else that you’d recommend (looked at Brides but no avail)? Thank you.

There are some hotels in La Léchère, just before Moutiers. Have stayed in one of them.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hôtel terminus or auberge de Savoie in Moutiers. Hotel Roma in Albertville or there are quite a few in Brides Les Bains. Remember to book as soon as you can as they fill up fast.

Hotel Inn at Moutiers is also worth a try..

There is only 1 room left, however, on Hotels.com for the night you are after (£88...)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Having stayed in the hotel inn. It is a bit dodgy I’d look elsewhere.

What was dodgy about it? We've stayed there a few times and always found it ok.

@Bergmeister, it was an Ibis back in the day but seems a bit run down and in need of a referb. There are other better places for the same price IMHO

@franga you might consider Bozel or even the ski resort of Pralongan or Champagny la plagne. They split off the same road the goes to Courchevel.

Stay in Hotel Inn at least once a year and have never had a problem. I paid £38 for a twin room this April. Where can you get for the same price that's better?
