Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for some last minute advice for Zermatt

Folks,

My family and I are heading to Zermatt to ski the week before Easter, and I at least, cannot wait.

A few questions:

(1) My daughters 12 and 9 are quite good skiers, but we will want them in ski school much of the time. We have tentatively selected Summit Ski School (over Stoked and European Snow Adventures, as well as the Swiss Ski School which I have heard very little favorable about). Any info to further guide our selection?

(2) My wife and I are long-time and pretty good skiers and would like to explore off piste (conditions permitting) but would also like to have enough money left over to send our daughters to college. Any thoughts on where we could hook up with an advanced group?

(3) Recommendations for restaurants with good food that are kid-friendly? Extra points if you can accomodate our 12 year old vegetarian!

(4) In that vein, recommendations for fun things to do with the girls when we're not on the slopes?

(5) Finally, and first hand knowledge (or strong rumour) about the current state of the conditions?

By the way, Summit Ski School said that they cannot guarantee full day lessons because of the light demand. I'm curious how this can be the case during "peak season." It just seems bizarre.

Many thanks (and I happily tell you what you might like to know about most of North America's best areas - I've probably been to 17 of the top 20. As I've said, we've been at this for a while!).

Cheers,

Pete
