gregh, I can recommend Hotel Crap Ner. Don't worry about the name. Crap means 'Mount' in the local Romansk language (eg Crap Sogn Gions means Mount St. John).
Central, easy walking distance to the lift. Three stars if I remember right.

gregh, Board Riders Palace is the one i recommended in previous post, ~3 min walk from the lift free parking as well in locked underground carpark.........otherwise i think you'll have to pay up in the main sqaure to park.
The other hotel mentioned looked very nice but probably quite a bit more expensive - would be nice to know by how much though. I don't think there are many other choices, possibly one other, the one with a pool/gym that you see when you walk up to the lift from board riders. Oh and there is also one down from Board Rider by the bus stop but that would be a 15 min walk from the hotel. Sorry don't know the names of the other two but the tourist board are really helpful, drop them a mail http://www.laax.com/en/ and they'll get back to you very quickly with all the options.

Dan, boardriders looks good, but no restaurant, going to be arriving early evening, just fancy dumping my stuff, eating in hotel restaurant and crashing for the night!
Anyone stayed at the Best Western in Films? Reckon I can get a good rate there.

Hotel Waldeck in Flims Waldhaus a traditional *** star hotel. Can't walk to a lift but right opposite ski bus stop. Very friendly welcome.
