Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

In Zell am See this week and plan to go to Saalbach tomorrow.

Is it possible to do the whole circus in 1 day? Where is best to start? Clockwise or Anti Clockwise. Where should we eat and drink?

Any other info would be great.

yes

probably park at one end or the other. Suggest Saabach end for ease of driving.

Follow the sun around, so you get a nice tan during the day.

stop at the hotel gungau, just by the bottom of the zwolfkogelbahn lift for lunch (in hinterglemm)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anticlockwise is easier from memory. The black on Zwolferkogel can be very difficult in the wrong conditions.

johnboy, anti-clockwise would be better as Peter said. But you'll need to start early. If you have time, Red 16 is usually really quiet and in good conditions, you can really carve well on it and bomb it all the way down (but you have to take a t-bar). Number 1/1A back into Saalbach is fairly steep at the bottom and can get mogully towards the end of the day. You can take the red down to mid station and pick up the gondola for the second half, rather than doing the black all the way if you're tired. Other than that, most of the runs are an intermediates paradise with some great carving runs on the way.

A great place for lunch (on a sunny day) is the Wallegalm (marked on the piste map) over at Hinterglemm. When we were there they were cooking pasta (3 types) and grilled veggies outside and you got a massive plate for €7. No queue either!

Enjoy, I'm so jealous!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
