There have been several different versions of those over the years, this is just the latest version, but I'm not sure it's the best. far better to have a stainless steel hip flask in your pocket, more usefull as well as you don't loose your drink when someone skis into your poles

I'd image that holding 1/2 pint of liquid in each pole will make them quite heavy and cumbersome?. Goode, which are carbon fibre made to give them lightness, is the type I have used for many years.

It's a US pint, by the look of it, so UK users would have to drink 2.25 poles to have the required effect.
