Yep, that pic was taken outside the Banff Springs Hotel (which was fantastic) the snow was outstanding! all three Mountains were simply unbelieveable - it started snowing the day we landed with a massive storm and did not stop the whole time, with fresh snow almost every day... We're gonna have to go a long way to beat that trip, not a bad day in 12 days boarding

Sounds great, when we were out there last month there was barely any snow at resort level.
Surprisngly enough I'm going to struggle to top last saturday at cairngorm where there was stupid amounts of powder (for the area - knee to waist depth)
We're off to st anton next week. around 1 meter fell yesterday with more to come

I'm the one in the blue jacket wrapped round the tree. Just so you appreciate the lengths to which I went to get this dramatic shot, the broken branch top right broke my momentum before the tree did and we were on a 40 degree slope - making DM-extraction tricky. Once my chum released my left ski I popped out of the snow like a slightly shaken cork.
