Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

identify Whitedot ski

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey,

My mate has come into possession of what appears to be a demo version of a Whitedot ski, wondered if anyone could identify it. It's around 180/90 odd long, maybe 100 wide, grey marble effect (kinda...) topsheet. Full rocker, massive at the tip and a bit at the back.

Only thing to identify it as Whitedot is the logo on the base. I'll take some photos later if no one has any ideas.

Thanks very much

Is it like a black & white camo type design? Could be the demo version of the Altum.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

nah. If you saw it from afar you'd say it was just plain grey. Also it was given to him at the start of this season and has a few knocks so doubt it'd be a new model.

Cheers though

@Meltus, They've been knocking about since last season... Get a photo and someone here will identify it, no problem.

@Meltus, the Altum was new for this season, the demo was being abused last season so would almost certainly have a few knocks by now. Although if plain grey then sounds like a different ski to the one I'm thinking of.

Please excuse the messy room, I've literally just moved in, until my new flat is ready!

Carbon lite version of the gen1 Director I’d say.

Errr... I think the clue might be in the name written in big letters on the tail rolling eyes .

There's this thing called google which is amazing. Typing "Whitedot One" came up with lots of links, including a 2009 Snowheads review:

There's also a thing called "reading the whole thread" where I am clearly talking about the grey one which is front and centre in the photos...

@the_doc, I much preferred the preproduction pink topsheet of the gen 1 Director trad.

Couldn’t agree more, but I’d love some fluoro pink on my skis!
