Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone have any recommendations for a group of 14 mixed ability skiers for next March?
Some will have had 6 days, some 12 all the way up to 20+ years experience.
We’ve been to budget-friendly Bansko, now too small, and La Plagne, which was on the pricy side but had great variety.
Any suggestions for a great, mixed slope, reasonably priced resort with some nightlife (not necessarily loads)?
Mostly 40-50 year olds so trendy bars not required.
We love a catered chalet but will consider half board or more.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Morzine with IGOSKI in Les Dents Blanches. Terrific amount of ski variety on either Les Gets or Avoriaz side. Huge variety of bars and restaurants even though it's half board we usually sample a few restaurants. Hot tub. Great staff, good value and they often do a lift pass offer (£30 for full area last year). 1 hour from Geneva too.

We've been there last 2 years but are going to 3V with IGOSKI for a change of scenery, tomorrow!!!

Your group sounds like a slightly older version of ours

Alta Badia in the Dolomites. Plenty of snowHeads are fans, several relevant threads on the forum.

Food is better and cheaper than France, scenery is stunning, plenty of blue runs for the less experienced while the others have a huge area to explore.

I'd recommend Alpe d'Huez ... very well laid out for a mixed ability group with, in general, the trickier pistes and the off piste higher up the mountain and then the easier runs lower down.

Have a look at Montgenevre. Its high at 1800 and has green slopes from the top of the mountains on both sides so it works for all abilities. The adventurous can do a day in Serre Chevalier on the same pass .1 hour from Turin and a few bars but no big apres ski. Go Montgenevre do catered chalets.

The Dolomites have the best weather in the Alps. Lots of sunny days when other areas are suffering rain or closed lifts.

Andorra?
Debate over "value" of lift pass (price/km piste) but elsewise reasonable prices for food/drink/accommodation, variety of slopes for mixed abilities, comparable snow record incl snow-making back-up, c2hours transit from airport, more après than Italy by and large.
However if looking for Tyrolean charm and après then you will need to go to Austria for that...
