Looking for a sneaky April trip - pref Sun-Thurs / Weds-Sun . .
Have had some quotes from a couple of operators (Momentum / Ski Weekends / Flexiski) but they all come out a lot more expensive than a full week . . .Any value operators / suggestions?
Not bothered about specific resort but needs to be high and include all flights / transfers / accom etc

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

For April far more likely to do better DIY - cheap flights, car, get a decent HB hotel away from lifts if necessary

I have never found a really cheap extended weekend package, always DIY seems better value.
I was considering UCPA Argentiere - they selling 4 days holiday (no lessons) for £356 early April. You just need travel on top of it.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

+1 on the DIY. Depending on snow you could do Geneva Chamonix/ lyon Tarentaise/ Munich Ischgl/ Solden. Proximity of the airport to the resort in key and early morning / late evening flights is key.

DIY is the way to go. I never do more than 4 day long trips due to work and family commitments.
Have always managed to undercut package offers myself.
The one exception to this is easyjet holidays sometimes have good hotel+flight prices which l often can be reduced with discount code and/or cashback sites. You'd still need to arrange transfers /hire car though

@Belch, +2 on DIY. Sun-Thu you will find great deals direct with the hotels. Inclusive ski passes, ski hire discounts etc. Then just book your flight/transfer. Make sure you pick somewhere that's open though. Wengen at £800 sounds great but Manlichen is closed in April. Still lots of good skiing obviously, but buyer beware.

Was weirdly thinking Trysil DIY on this basis as transfers are good / frequent / cheap . . .most of the package wallahs are quoting £650+ for 3 nights / 3.5 days ski . . .without passes / ski carriage etc.
Any other lazy / no DIY routes?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Saw some good deals on interski for 3-4 days, half board with vouchers for lunch, ski pass , equipment hire and winter insurance included. Also sometimes the tfr fom the airport thrown in.
Something like £400-£500 all in, you just have to add in the costs of getting there.
