Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

After over 30 weeks of use I have noticed my boots definately have an odour I have taken out the inners and soaked them in warm water and soap and then dried them anything else I should be doing?

Boots foot talc is pretty good at absorbing odours. (they do a spray as well). Also, let the liners get plenty of air.

T Bar, baking soda works well, but you need to kill off the bacteria and fungi first . . . including the fresh stuff brewing between your toes.
I did once soak a pair of trainers in a bucket of isopropyl alcohol (worked a treat) but not practical for you. Try a couple of good soak washes in Milton sterilising fluid first.

You could soak your feet in a bucket of urine.

Get a pair of ladies tights, cut them just below the knee, and fill the feet with cat litter, and tie a knot in the top so doen's all fall out!(cheap stuff works as well as the more pricey brands).

Might be worth a squirt of antibac febreze first to kill the bacteria, but the cat litter will absorb the odour really well. Once the odour has gone, use fresh litter and drop a pouch into each boot as soon as you take them off-it will absorb all the moisture and keep your boots odour free.

For best results, make sure to remove all larger brown pieces from the litter first.
