Going to SuperDevoluy next week and looking at the forecast and webcams. No snow has fallen for 6 weeks. Is anybody in the area at the moment and can put my mind at rest re how good the pistes are please?

Hi, I haven't been there for two weeks, due to a cold and being too busy. Looking at the webcams today, it's still in quite good condition. Even at the end of April the upper runs are good, it's just the lowest 150 - 200m that really suffers. Some snow fell last week, more due this week, so it should be fine for your trip. I don't think I can get out there this week to check it for you, never mind!

Hi Louis, I use the cameras from the website. For the nervous, the Jas lift run, Lievre, is under the chair and gets scraped, Jas is good, it's just the bottom bit though the trees which gets sugary. The others, Sapins and Meules are narrower, with steeper bits. I'd avoid Berger, through the trees, usually bare and / or icy. From the Pelourenq chair, Aurouze has a couple of small steeper pitches, but is quite wide. You can see the runs from the chair, and decide which to take.
Of course, the conditions will have an effect on the difficulty, have fun!
Also, I live at 924 m, I'ts trying to snow at the moment, so, starting to look a bit better for you.
Paul

Snow coverage looks to be okay. This is from the bottom so should be better further up. From memory there were quite a few gentle blues going off from the music bar at the top of one of the main lifts.
We had 25 degrees when we went so was a lot greener than it is at the moment. Still managed a good amount of skiing each day.
