Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski school in Lech

 Poster: A snowHead

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if I could ask for your guidance with regards to booking a ski school in Lech. My wife and I, both beginners, will be staying at Der Berghof from 23.03.19 to 30.03.19 and I am yet to decide on which ski school to book with.

From what I've read, Alpine Centre seems to be the better of the two schools (the other being ski shule lech) in Lech?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks,

Vipul

I should add we are looking for group courses...also, would you suggest 3, 5 or 6 day courses? i.e. is it a good idea to try implementing what you learn every other day?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As a beginner, Skischule Lech is your best option by far. They are the largest, so will be best suited to put you in a group that is best for you. The Skischule Lech is considered one of the best of Austria. The Alpin centre is better for advanced groups.
It is not a good idea to go ‘implementing’ on you own. You should not underestimate the difficulty ánd the dangers of skiing, for yourself and for others (!).
Apart from that, a beginners skicourse is great fun, something you’ll remember forever.
Go at least 5 days
