Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

HELP: Need advice tonight - Binding mounting

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Ok, so I've been looking at the ski sale posted in the bargain thread and narrowed my choice to 2 skis. One comes with binding Attack 13 demo and the other is ski only. What I want to know is could I mount the demo bindings on both skis, switching between them? If so how easily. I have head of quiver killers, is that the way to go if I want this? I know demo bindings aren't ideal but I've only ever rented so I don't know the differnce

Sale ends tonight so I'm looking to order soon.

Thanks

@blacksheep, Demo bindings have base plates, you could just buy another set of Attack 13 base plates and attach them to the other ski, then just slide the heel and toes pieces off one ski and put them onto the other. I do this with some marker squire demos on two different pairs of skis and it works well, (but I did actually buy 2 full binding sets) Tyrolia Attack 13 are a good demo binding.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Zorrac, many thanks. That puts my mind at ease. The skis without the bindings are 99 waist so I'll also need brakes to suit but sounds like I could have a decent option to switch between the two then.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Attack Demo bases are not available to purchase seperately but they're easy to Quiver Killer.
