Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Welt and Kitzbuhel

Does anyone know how much it costs to ski Kitzbuhel for the day if you upgrade a weekly SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser pass? Trying to see if its worth paying the extra for a 6 day Super Ski card (which covers both) as will probably only do 1 or 2 days in Kitzbuhel.... (staying in Westendorf for the week)

@pablito69, for 6 days, the Super Ski pass costs €34 more than a SkiWelt pass. A day pass in Kitz costs €57.

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As far as I know you can't upgrade the SkiWelt pass for a day. You buy either that and day ticket for Kitz or the SuperSki pass.

6 day peak season prices for;
Kitz €277, SkiWelt €249, SuperSki €283. Kitz day ticket €57.
Bit of a no-brainer to get the SuperSki pass for an extra €34 over the SkiWelt one.

Thanks, but it used to be possible to pay a small daily upgrade free on your SkiWelt pass (from memory it was about €22?) rather than buy a full Kitz day pass. Is that still the case? To be fair it's probably small margins.. just need to make sure I visit Kitz twice!

@pablito69, if it is the case, I have never heard of it.

Me neither, the pass you buy is not upgradable

The pass set up has changed this year, the Kitzbühler Alpen pass has been merged with the Salzburgerland pass. I would presume that has removed the option to pay for upgrades on the individual area passes. Given the small cost difference would it not seem sensible to get the Super Ski pass anyway?
