Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Short ski tours Tignes/Val d'Isere 24th Feb - 2nd March

Hi all,

I'm in Tignes for a week from Sunday 24th Feb to Sunday 3rd March with my wife and a group of friends who mainly ski on the pistes. I'm looking for someone/a group to buddy up with for some touring/off piste options from the lifts to try and access what's left, if anything, of the colder snow! To be honest though just getting away from the lifts for a morning/afternoon would be great. I hope it's obvious enough but I'll bringing transceiver, shovel and probe and know how to use them, and I hope if anyone's keen on linking up they've got the kit and know how to use it too. I've resort skied most of my life, have more than a decade of alpine and scottish winter climbing experience behind me but have only got into touring in the last 6 years or so, so only have 20-30 days experience. Basically I'm not a beginner but also not 100% polished! Keen for most things from easy off piste runs to a day touring, to seeking out steeps etc. Let me know if anyone's interested in linking up for a couple of mornings/afternoons/days next week!

My email address is bartshaw19@hotmail.com if you want to get in touch or exchange numbers

Cheers

Bart
