Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Thoughts on ValT/Tignes/Courchevel/LesA Next Week?

First time posting, hope you all can help! I'm flying to Geneva with my three teenagers (14,16,18, all intermediate skiers) and need to decide where to head from there (yes, very last minute). We were in Laax last year and loved it (long, thigh pumping reds, easy freeskiing off on the side of the slopes). Generally we stick to the pistes, mostly on the reds with some black adventures. Weather looks a bit odd for Feb, sunny and warm (peaking at +5 even at 3.000 meters mid next week) so a bit worried about the south facing bowl at ValT.

Welcome aboard!

Height will be your friend next week, otherwise your thighs will be pumping slush Shocked , also will be cooler on a night which will allow snow making. I guess you know its one of the busiest weeks of the year........

That said I'll be back in Tignes tomorrow and can't wait.

I wouldn't worry too much about Val T, it's high enough to cope much better than other resorts with the warm weather, plus the long cold nights seem to be keeping the pistes in good nick for now. Yes, there are a few runs on the south side around Plein Sud, but the vast majority of runs at ValT have north facing slopes so should hold up just fine.

The pistes in Tignes are in great condition.
