Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Could anyone recommend a ski hire shop in arcs 2000 ? First time having to hire my own skis in about 10 years and so want to make sure I get a decent pair! So many sad memories of bad ski hire ....

I'm off to Arc 1800 in early March, first time back on snow for a few years. I'm renting through
Skiset
who have a few rental shops in 1800 as they have different ranges of skis at different prices. Hoping to rent some
Blizzard
Brahma or Rossi Sky7HD skis from their better ranges, along with a beginners snowboard for my 19Y/O lad. I have pre-booked and paid, getting a voucher proving hire which I have printed to present at point of rental. I have also taken out loss/theft/breakage insurance at a few Euro per day.
We will be using our own (well fitted) boots as I don't trust rental boots.
Must be a
Skiset
branch in Arc 2000 ??
TUI airlines want £45 carriage per pair, hence renting this time.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I did a bit of research and rented from

before. They were fine for me.

I'm not sure they're any better, but the 1950 ski shops are easily reachable on foot if any do stand out.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
