Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@Rojac,
Great.
What is the ski level / age group?

I am in my 40s, good fitness level.

Open to explore France / Switzerland or even off the beaten tracks like Romania, Georgia, Andorra, Bulgaria, etc.
Ideally long weekends or last minute to look for good snow.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

hi, i'm Lou, im an experienced skier in my thirties looking to join up with a group. i like to think i can get along with most people and as for room sharing, i have it on good authority that i dont snore..

as for my ski level, i've never chickened out of anything, been skiing since i was too heavy to sit on my dads shoulders and though im not always stylish, im competent, confident, and patient with people who are less experienced.

look forward to hearing from you. Lx

Hi Lou

Sounds great! Do you have a budget you have to stick to?

I’ve not used this forum before - shall we swap emails to discuss further?

Hi, Are you still looking? We have another 3 guys around 40, so potentially could make a 6 which could make easier booking. Looking at Meribel for a week from 9th/10th March.

Three of us are now looking at Chamonix for a week from 9 March. We could easily make it four and do two twins if anyone is interested?

We are all interested in off-piste and have all the gear (and sometimes no idea what we are doing!). I would describe us as adventurous but not totally stupid so we look for powder and get all giddy when we have a good day on the steep and deep but none of us are experts. I ski and my two friends both board. I am the youngest in my early 40s and the oldest is 52. Not really big on the late night scene but we like some apres and a good meal, it is all about the snow for us and we would sooner be up at 0700 for the first lift on a powder day than up at 0200 in a bar.

Geographically we are split up so will fly from Manchester and Gatwick. If there are any similar minded folk who want to join then let me know and I would be happy to chat about the trip. One more chap would be great but if more people are interested in meeting in Chamonix that would be good too. Always happy to meet others of a similar mind.

Late post as we need to book asap but thought I would give it a go!

Rob

Hi, sounds like your group may be too big now, but we have room in a really nice and luxurious catered chalet after a friend has dropped out. We have a double / twin room availabile. It includes 4 course evening meals for 6 nights and all wine and beer for the week. We have paid £1150 pp but happy with around £850 and could do a name change on a Manchester flight for that too.
