Amended post title to reflect the M20 will be closed nightly west/London bound from 8pm until 6am until 9 March 
The M20 will be closed from coast bound from junction 9 to junction 11 from 10pm on each of the next 4 Fridays until 6 am the following Monday. There will also be closures London bound.

Schedule : From 22:00 on 25 January 2019 to 06:00 on 28 January 2019. Schedule : From 22:00 on 1 February 2019 to 06:00 on 4 February 2019. Lanes Closed : All lanes will be closed.
Plan to use the M2 to gte to Dover & Eurotunnel as Ashford and the A20 is likely to clog up, especially during the day.

Bumping this as closed again this weekend and next.
Ashford was gridlocked as was A20 between Ashford and J11 in both directions. In one word: AVOID

The M20 will be closed between Ashford and Maidstone (west bound) from Saturday 9th Feb to mid March from 8pm to 6am each night and there will be a 50mph limit when it's open. There are average speed cameras ready to catch those who do not understand what average means

Looked at Highways England - I'm not sure they are closing the motorway, only lanes

Going home from the tunnel, I headed back towards Folkstone then up the A260 to the M2, worked fine.
Whatever foreign hauliers are being charged to use the UK road network isn't enough, the M2 is a mess, only place I have seen a worse road surface is Detroit.
