Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting back from Sarenne?

Hi all. Does the sarenne in ADH end at Alpauris chair and if so does that chair go back up the Bergers?....THE map is a bit fuzzy and doesn't label the black line as sarenne the whole way down. Thanks.

@Harvamnia, you can get back to AdH via the Chalvet chair, which deposits you on the Campanules piste and then you can ski back down to Bergers or you can carry on past the Chalvet and (I think) get on the Alpauris at its mid-station. We have always used the Chalvet - lovely rickety old chair that climbs the valley and handily placed next to a little bar where you can reward yourself for the Sarenne run!

IIRC the best way back from Sarenne is Chalvet which at the top of you can go down the red to Bergers, or after Chalvet there's a flat blue road that ends at Alpauris, which does take you back to Bergers. Either way, you don't want to do Sarenne on a board, the last 1/4 or so is so flat, it's a skate on skis.

Agree with above. My boys moaned their faces off at the end of the run basically a flat road through the trees. I enjoyed it on skis. I would say there are a lot of busy points on the steep where skiers unable to ski properly litter the piste like the opening scenes of saving private Ryan. First thing in the morning is the best time to do it
