It's an announcement to shareholders of the very early stages of a process that may lead to them selling the airline, but I wouldn't expect anything to actually happen for a year or two. They might also decide it's better to shrink the airline or bit, or set it up as a joint venture with someone else. The airline is profitable, it's the parent group that is in trouble.
I don't understand the point of the videos that the news sites seem to want to force you to watch. It's just a few key sentences from the article, played really slowly over stock footage and musak. How does that add anything to the article?
