Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Have you tried speaking to a snowboard shop near you, they may have spares?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Aren't Ride and K2 interchangeable (same company?). I bought some spares direct from a UK distributor which I think was also a fishing tackle distributor.

Unfortunately I have no snowboard shops local to me. I had no idea that K2 and Ride were interchangeable.

A lot of searching turned up the fishing tackle company who no longer stock buckles.

It’s a shame the manufacturers are never interested. Thanks for the replies though.

Ive got burton superglide toe and ankle ratchets and a few ladders but no Salomon or Ride .

Well popped to Decathlon today to see if they had spare generic buckles. Panicked for a few seconds after I thought I’d jammed my buckle onto one of their bindings.

Then I confused the crap out of a young lad by asking if they stocked such a thing. Honestly, he produced the most stunning gormless look I have ever seen. And I know some gormless people.

So no joy there. Apart from some really cheap base layers.

However, I should of relied more on my innate skills as a massive bodger. Looking closely a small spring had broken. By unwrapping the ends and a bit of stretching out. I’ve only flipping fixed it

5 holidays I’ve been putting up with this!

Anyway. Thanks for all the input

Never had any trouble with Burton bruv. Bindings, boots, and pants all replaced or given spare parts when needed and quickly too.
