When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

World Cup skiing moves to South Korea ... with a surprise result

The men's circuit of the World Cup has moved on to Asia, following the Winter Olympics in Turin ... and one Olympic star has delivered a surprise result in the giant slalom at Yonpyong, South Korea, on Sunday.

Yes - but the day before Simoncelli won with Blardone 2nd - both marvellous. Shame they couldn't put it together for the Olympics. Freddie Nyberg was excellent on both days - will he retire at the end of the season on such a high note? bennie Raich was consistent too + Kalle Pallander. All the usual suspects in fact!
