Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Solo Snowboarder looking for group/buddy one week soon - sorted

Early 50s male intermediate boarder looking to join up with a group or buddy for a 7-day trip in the next few weeks. I've been on a bash, and with people from here before, it has always worked out well (I think)!
Happy to board on my own or in a group of other boarders/skiers, just good to be out on the snow. I like the bigger areas, but I'm not planning on tearing it up first to last. I do tend to be up and out, though, providing I've had a decent coffee.
I enjoy a couple of drinks just off the slope, or after dinner, but not all night.
Chalet or Chalet Hotel is ideal, I'm not looking to be in an apartment. My budget is around £600 before lift pass.
I'm based in West London.

Since I renegotiated the price of apartment places on the GnarliBuG, it now fits your budget (ski pass included in price) and the group matches all your other criteria.
I know u said u weren't interested in apartments but I assume you're thinking of self catered scenarios and we're just using the aparts here as cheaper hotel beds. It's half board and the food (and spa facilities) are excellent.

Contemplating the GnarliBug as an option. Your assumption on apartments was correct, not keen on the self-catering. The Pre-Season bash I went on some years back, I was in an apartment, and that was great. Budget-wise, including fights it is a little stretch, but not too much. The timing is good - I can't make the following week (commitment on the 15th). In the meantime I'll see if this thread sparks a great last minute opportunity - Cheers.
